Cucumber salad made easy—fresh, creamy, and customizable in minutes. A Southern kitchen favorite with a modern TikTok twist.

 


Ingredients

Thinly slice cucumbers and red onion using a sharp knife or mandoline for even cuts.

In a medium bowl, whisk together white vinegar, olive oil, sugar, salt, pepper, and optional lemon juice or red pepper flakes.

Add the sliced cucumbers and red onion to the bowl. Toss well to coat.

Stir in the chopped fresh dill.

Let the salad chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.

  1. 2 cups shredded cabbage

  2. 1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced

  3. 1/2 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

  4. 2 green onions, chopped

  5. 2 tbsp dill or parsley (optional)

  6. 2 tbsp mayonnaise or Greek yogurt

  7. 1 tbsp olive oil

  8. 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice

  9. 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  10. 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  11. 1/2 tsp salt

 

1/4 tsp black pepper
